Unser Pieter Cruythoff Rosé Sekt ist für kurze Zeit auch in Deutschland zu haben.
Die Chardonnay- und Pinot-Noir-Trauben werden behutsam zusammen gepresst, um eine harmonische Grundlage zu schaffen. Um die reinsten und frischesten Fruchtaromen einzufangen, verwenden wir ausschließlich den ersten, zartesten Most. Dieser hochwertige Saft wird bei kühlen Temperaturen mit sorgfältig ausgewählter Champagnerhefe vergoren, um seine lebendige Charakteristik zu betonen.
Ein Hauch von würzigem Shiraz wird hinzugefügt, um dem Wein Tiefe und Raffinesse zu verleihen. Anschließend ruht er sechs Monate lang auf seiner natürlichen Hefe. In dieser Zeit entwickelt er eine angenehme Fülle, Geschmeidigkeit und die typischen Aromen, die einen Schaumwein so besonders machen. Schließlich wird der Wein mit einem sanften Prickeln im Champagner-Stil abgefüllt, wodurch er ein lebendiges, fruchtbetontes Erlebnis bietet.
Das Ergebnis? Ein Sekt, der elegant, frisch und voller Charme ist.

Our Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are gently crushed together to create a harmonious base. To capture the purest and freshest fruit flavors, we use only the first, most delicate juice. This pristine juice is fermented at cool temperatures with carefully chosen Champagne yeast, enhancing its vibrant character.
A subtle touch of spicy Shiraz is added for depth and intrigue, and the wine is then left to rest on its natural lees for six months. During this time, it gains richness, smoothness, and those signature sparkling wine notes that make it so special. Finally, after perfecting its balance, the wine is bottled with a gentle sparkle in the Charmat style, delivering a lively, fruit-forward experience.
The result? A sparkling wine that’s elegant, fresh, and layered with charm. Cheers!

The Legend
Dispatched by Jan van Riebeeck in search of the perfect place to grow provisions for the Dutch East India Company, Pieter Cruythoff stumbled upon a beautiful valley. But it was more than just the scenic beauty of this valley that had caught his eye; situated in the lee of the majestic Kasteelberg, the winters were mild, the summers were hot and the soil was uncommonly fertile. What’s more, ships spotted from the lookout point on Kasteelberg were just a day away from Cape Town, and so were the wagons that went to meet them, laden with the treasures of the Riebeek Valley.
While he humbly named the valley after his patron, Jan van Riebeeck, we feel it is only fitting that our valley’s most coveted treasure should carry the name of its founder. So, in honour of Pieter Cruythoff, this range of fine wine bears his name.
From the vibrant whites to the seductive reds, each one is a gem gently coaxed from the fertile soil of that same magical valley. Ironically, much of the valley’s bounty still finds its way to Europe, and in particular to the Netherlands, the land of Cruythoff’s birth.
